Toms Juhnevics was born in 1981 and studied piano performance at Talsi Music School, E. Dārziņš Secondary Music School and Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where he also studied composition. He has honed his professional skills with professors of Juilliard School (New York), Royal Academy of Music (London) and conservatories of Moscow, Paris and Saint Petersburg, as well as with tutors of other prestigious music academies. Toms is a prizewinner of international academic and jazz music competitions. He has written several radio hits and music for theatre and TV.
